I awaken each day

Praying for a better way

God sets the tone

He never leaves me alone

I embark on a journey

In His name only

I’m not crippled by fear

Cause God is always near

Days and nights are pure

They make me feel secure

I spread nothing but love

As sent by heaven above

It’s faithful and true

It carries me through

I face life at its core

Then ask for more

Life is full of lessons

I’m alive and free

I choose to be me
