I ran into a stranger one day
And he had an awful lot to say
He shared his dreams
As strange as it seems
He held me close
Closer than most
He told me about life
And how to remove strife
He made me see
What was meant to be
It didn’t take long
To discover where I belong
The stranger took me to a place
Filled with God’s grace
We got a second chance
So we did a victor dance
We shared a love
Sent from heaven above
We took a stand
While holding God’s hand
It was very real
And too hard to conceal
We kept going
While knowing
Our journey would last forever
We made it through stormy weather
We were clear
About what we held dear
So I don’t regret
Nor can I forget
Meeting the stranger
