As I look at the morning sun

I count my blessings

Each and every one

I cherish the day

In my own way

I share my love

As sent by heaven above

And I gain strength

While talking with God at length

As I continue my journey

I am ordained by God only

I follow His lead

It’s a blessing indeed

He dries my tears

And eases my fears

He restores my soul

And He makes me whole

I learn as I go

And I continue to grow

As I reflect on the past

I make every moment last

I see my purpose

Rise to the surface

And I find peace

That I’ll never release

I embrace God’s plan
