My journey is long and winding

And filled with love that’s binding

It’s all I know

It has helped me grow

It teaches me lessons

As I make confessions

And one thing is clear

God is always near

It gives me strength

As I talk with God at length

And fills me with a pride

That I cannot hide

It makes me see

What’s meant to be

And it takes me to a place

Filled with God’s grace

It keeps me strong

Whether I’m right or wrong

It’s a small part

Of what’s in my heart

It’s something I can share

With tender loving care

And it’s ordained by God only
