I use the past as lessons

While making confessions

I take one step at a time

While still in my prime

Who we’re meant to be

And we give as good as we get

I have a fire in my belly

It won’t go away

It visits me every day

It guides me through and through

It shows me what to do

It’s all I know

It’s how I grow

Filled with God’s grace

It’s something pure

It makes me feel secure

It’s something meant to be

It’s a special part of me

It’s a wonderful guide

It’s something I can’t hide

It’s a purpose

That always rises to the surface

And it gives me strength

When I talk with God at length

It puts me on solid ground

No matter who’s around

It’s the fire in my belly

Where there’s no time or space

Thanking God for being there

He sends me on my way

God is real. Trust Him.

This place is temporary. God has more for you.

The dream is real

Praise God for a while

It’s what’s inside
