Back in the day

I used to live a different way

I navigated life with ease

I was easy to please

I didn’t have a care

I had so much to share

I stayed in prayer

Knowing God was there

His plan was easy to see

So I let Him guide me

I shared my love

Just like heaven above

I could smell the roses

And strike a few poses

I was very clear

About what I held dear

I also knew

I could change my point of view
