God answers prayers.

Keep the faith. God will supply your every need.

I spent many days

Trying to change my ways

Life took me far

And left me with a scar

Didn’t know what to do

Or how I’d make it through

I was brought to my knees

Didn’t know who to please

And suddenly life changed

Everything was rearranged

I’m out of the dark

I can see what’s meant to be

I’ve been through the fire

Down to the wire

Didn’t know my name

I hung my head in shame

Circumstances took away

My smile every day

I was abused

And so confused

It took time

For me to reach my prime

Now I’m out of the dark

I can see

What’s truly meant to be

The spirit will lead

The spirit is a blessing indeed

The spirit removes fear

The spirit shows God is near

The spirit guides and protects

It never rejects

The spirit moves far

No matter who you are

The spirit will follow you

The spirit will carry you through

The spirit is a place

Where you’ll find guidance and grace

The spirit will make you see

What’s truly meant to be

The spirit is something pure

The spirit will make you feel secure

Right or wrong

The spirit will keep you strong

The spirit lives every day

The spirit will show you the way

It provides solid ground

Everywhere it’s found

It’s a purpose

You’ll see at the surface

You can feel it

In the spirit

Let go and let God.

God is saying to you tonight, “Rest. I am already at work. I will turn around every negative situation in your life. I will bless you and your family. I will heal every place you are hurting.”

In the morning

My soul will be free

I’ll see all I’m meant to be

God’s love will rule

And provide me with the right tool

I’ll follow Him from beginning to end

I won’t have to pretend

I’ll see my purpose

Rise to the surface

Nothing will be the same

The world will know my name

I’ll cherish the day

And take time to pray

I’ll see solid ground

And appreciate what I’ve found

I’ll arrive in a place

Filled with God’s guidance and grace

And my voice I’ll raise

As I give Him the  praise

In the morning

We traveled a great distance

With very little resistance

We thought love would last

Despite our difficult past

It was God ordained

What we felt was real

And something we couldn’t conceal

It took us to a place

That put us in a different space

We couldn’t know

How things would go

But we eventually suffered a lost

We didn’t know how much it would cost

So next time

We will prepare

We’ll be more aware

We’ll know what to hold

We’ll know what story will be told

We’ll clearly see

What’s meant to be

And we’ll enjoy ourselves in our prime

Next time

Never underestimate the power of prayer.

This next blessing will be proof that God was with you the whole entire time.
