For better or worse

I’ve traveled far and wide

I’ve swam against the ocean’s tide

I’ve prayed consistently

I’ve loved unconditionally

I’ve taken a stand

While holding God’s hand

I’ve seen the key

To being the best I can be

And I’ve changed course

With very little remorse

For better or worse

I’ve seen a lot of days

I’ve changed in many ways

I’ve felt heartache and pain

I see what I can gain

I feel my soul

Becoming stronger and whole

I see a place

Filled with guidance and grace

And wherever I go

I’ll share what I know

I cherish every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

The joy I feel is real

It’s something I can’t conceal

And I’m about to burst
