I turned away

From what ruined my day

I’m on to new things

I feel the joy it brings

Life isn’t the same

Everyone knows my name

I stayed in prayer

Cause God was there

He picked me up

Now I’m in a better place

One filled with guidance and grace

And it feels as good

The journey was long
