We go through the fire

To obtain what we desire

We never know what we’ll find

So we seek peace of mind

We travel a long road

As God carries the heavy load

It’s abundantly clear

What we hold dear

Blessings arrive

And suddenly we begin to thrive

We continue a journey

Ordained by God only

We learn difficult lessons

That turn into confessions

We stumble here and there

But we know life isn’t fair
