I sit in my after glow

Joy is all I know

I’m blessed beyond measure

Knowing God is a pleasure

He sits on a throne

He never leaves me alone

I let go of fear

I know what I hold dear

Each journey is better

I love life to the letter

My after glow is my purpose

I see it at the surface

It shows me the way

It’s present every day

It’s God’s plan

He reveals it when He can

Right or wrong

It keeps me strong

And every lesson

Becomes a confession

Every moment is better than before

I’m filled to the core

I’ll keep going

All while knowing

Where I stand

As I hold God’s hand

And I continue to grow
