It’s something I had to do

It changed my point of view

The sun was clear

I knew God was near

The journey was gold

It’s something I can hold

The walk filled me to the core

It made me beg for more

The sun is a light

That exposes every thing right

It made me think of the time

I was in my prime

It made me smile

And reflect a while

I’ll do it again

Walking is no sin

It offers solid ground

No matter who’s around

And I’m in a different place

One filled with guidance and grace

As I take a walk around the sun
