In reality

I see what’s meant for me

I say a prayer

Cause God is there

I face each day

In my own way

I gain strength

By talking to God at length

Naysayers I ignore

As faith offers me more

I take time

To remember my prime

It was long ago

But it shows what I know

God remained by my side

Gratitude I can’t hide

The journey is real
