Tonight I pray

I send praise God’s way

I look at the stars

As God heals my scars

I see what’s great

Despite everything I hate

I embrace tender loving care

Cause it’s always there

And I prepare for a journey

Ordained by God only

Tonight I find

Peace of mind

I see where it stands

As God and I hold hands

I touch a stone

Showing that I’m not alone

I see what God brought me through

He’s sweeter than morning dew

I learn as I go

And I share what I know

Tonight I’m filled to the core

I gain much more

I see God’s plan

He reveals it when He can

I’m in a space

Filled with guidance and grace

I’m on solid ground

I share the joy I’ve found

And I stand in God’s light
