As I walked I noticed the silhouette

It’s one I won’t forget

It was tiny, but clean

It was one I’d never seen

It lead the way

It stayed the entire day

It was a gift

That gave my soul a lift

And I didn’t hide

The joy I felt inside

The silhouette took me far

Without leaving a scar

I embraced its lessons

I uttered confessions

It made me see

How life is suppose to be

I heard its voice

It made me rejoice

Cause I knew God was near

And there was nothing to fear

I cherish everything I get

And thank God for the silhouette
