As the sun sets

I see what prayer gets

I embrace every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

I prepare for another journey

Ordained by God only

I follow God’s lead

His plan helps me succeed

I reflect on the day

And cherish it in every way

I’m filled to the core

God offers me more

I gain strength

By talking with God at length

I begin to rejoice

As I find my voice

My purpose becomes clear

And my God is near

Life gets better

As I embrace it to the letter

I look at its glow

I reflect on what I know

Life’s lessons build me

I know what’s meant to be

Through the heartache and pain

I see what I can gain

I fall to my knees

I know who to please
