I begin to rejoice

Cause I can hear God’s voice

I look into my heart

To see where to start

He shows me the way

As I start a new day

I embrace the journey

Meant for me only

I know it’s real

And something I can’t conceal

I begin to grow

As I share what I know

Under God’s protection

He reveals His plan

As soon as He can

I take note

Of everything He wrote

It’s easy to see

What’s meant to be

Every step I take

Is a memory I can make

I plant new seeds

As I do good deeds

Each and every lesson

Becomes a confession

I follow God’s lead

It helps me succeed

I see what’s right
