I hear the rain hit my window

It symbolizes everything I know

I take a look outside

My trials I can’t hide

The rain tries to sweep me away

But I survive another day

I look up at God

And give Him a wink and a nod

The rain last for some time

It reminds me of my prime

The rain represents everything

The rolling thunder

Almost put me under

But a prayer saw me through

It made me feel brand new

But I kept going until the end

I learned about heaven above

Heavenly Father

Thank you for all you’ve done

What you provide each day

Makes trouble seem far away

You wipe all the tears

You ease all the fears

Your loving touch carries us through
