I start each day

By sending praise God’s way

I look at the past

And know how faith last

As I start my journey

I know I’m ordained by God only

I stumble here and there

But I’m offered tender loving care

Each experience is a lesson

That turns into a confession

God wipes away every tear

And removes every fear

Right or wrong

His love keeps me strong

Naysayers I ignore

Cause I’m filled to the core

I wear a smile

It last awhile

Every step I take

Is a memory I can make

I count every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

Cause God is with me

I’m the best I can be
