What you call confessions

Are actually lessons

God is bigger than your problems.

God is working on your behalf. Trust Him.

We have dark days

They appear in many ways

They try to bring us down

They turn a smile into a frown

They can take us off course

While showing no remorse

They can instill fear

When we don’t know who’s near

They can make us cry

They can make us ask why

They can make us stand still

Make us forget God’s will

They can hurt the soul

As we try to become whole

They can leave us frozen in time

Make us forget our prime

They can cut to the core

Hurt what we adore

But faith is the key

To being the best we can be

God works consistently

He loves unconditionally

He watches us day and night

He’s a guiding light

When we fall

On Him we can call

So in many ways

He can brighten dark days

Laying all across the land

I see where I’ve traveled

I see the faith that never unraveled

I see the purpose that was clear

I see everything I hold dear

I see the love I feel

I see what my heart can’t conceal

And the silent prayer

That is always there

That means so much

I see the lessons

That turn into confessions

I see the place

Filled with guidance and grace

I see my power

Growing by the hour

I see what I’ve been through

Blessings came my way

And I’ll hold God’s hand

Time is your most valuable resource. Don’t waste it.
