The voice came through loud and clear

It let me know God was near

It told me what I already know

Then suddenly I began to grow

It led the way

To a brand new day

It mentioned God’s word

It was the best I ever heard

And it put me at ease

As I learned it’s God I should please

The voice began to reveal

What my heart can’t conceal

It held me close

Told me I mattered most

It taught me about the past

And how to make moments last

It put a move on my heart

Gave me a brand new start

It soothed my soul

It made me whole

It put me in a new zone

It never left me alone

And I began to rejoice

As I listened to the voice
