It’s almost summer

This I know

Just another way to grow

I see flowers blooming

I see my destiny looming

Life is grand

As I hold God’s hand

It’s time for something new

Time to change my point of view

God led the way

To this fateful day

It’s nothing I regret

I’ll give as good as I get

It’s almost summer

God is the reason

For the new season

The sudden change

Isn’t so strange

It’s a rebirth and renewal

That isn’t very cruel

It’s a journey

Ordained by God only

His guidance and grace

Brought me to this place

What I know for sure

Is I feel secure

Right or wrong

Faith has made me strong

I got a gift

That gave me a lift
