Perfect peace God will give

It’s the only way to live

He stays with us day and night

He is a guiding light

He provides something pure

He makes us feel secure

We gain strength

By talking with Him at length

He directs our path

Without unleashing His wrath

He reveals His plan

Whenever He can

He provides solid ground

No matter who’s around

He is a steppingstone

He’ll never leave us alone

He makes us smile

The smile last awhile

He brightens every day

In His own special way

He is a blessing

We embrace without stressing

We hold hands

Right where God stands

And it’s nothing we’ll release
