God and I stand face to face

It takes me to another place

One where my mind is free

And I can see what’s meant to be

We have a long conversation

Without any hesitation

God shares His word

It’s the best I’ve ever heard

He looks into my heart

Shows me where to start

He fills me to the core

Then offers me more

We continue our journey

It was meant for me only

We celebrate

What makes life great

God gives me strength

After we talk at length

Then sends me on way

I say a prayer

Cause He’s always there

He makes me sure

Makes me feel insecure
