In the morning I wake

A deep breath I take

I say a silent prayer

Thanking God for being there

He sends me on my way

I embrace the new day

As I begin my journey

I see what’s meant for me only

I feel a wide smile appear

Cause I know God is near

Pretty soon I find

What they call peace of mind

It follows me as I travel

Without letting me unravel

I bask in the sun

While I’m on the run

I fulfill the purpose

I see lying at the surface

The day last long

Faith keeps me strong

The further I go

The more I grow

It’s very real

Something I can’t conceal

I’m in a good place

And I’ll meet God at the same place
