Cloudy

It’s a cloud day

Time to wish the pain away

It’s part of the season

Let faith be the reason

We keep going

Without knowing

That things will change

This period won’t seem strange

When the sky clears

We’ll dry our tears

And begin to grow

As we share what we know

It’s a cloudy day

But it won’t last long

Faith will keep us strong

This is a test

Just like all the rest

We’ll gain solid ground

No matter who’s around

We’ll gain strength

By talking with God at length

We’ll rise again

We’ll learn how to win

We’ll recognize our purpose

As it rises to the surface

And we’ll share

Tender loving care

While it’s cloudy

Joy

I never worry or fear

Cause you’re always near

You brighten every day

In a very special way

You fill me to the core

I want to give you more

You are the blessing God granted

I’ll water the seeds I’ve planted

There’s nothing anyone can do

To stop me from loving you

It fills me with pride

My heart cannot hide

It’s a steppingstone

That makes me rejoice

Your tender touch

Means so much

You are a wonder to behold

You are a story untold

You are the purpose

I see lying at the surface

As we watch the breaking of day

We accept God’s way

We count every blessing granted

We water the seeds we planted

We prepare for a journey

Meant for us only

We share a love

Sent by heaven above

We begin to see

What’s truly meant to be

And things get better

As we embrace life to the letter

We find something pure

We feel safe and secure

God reveals His plan

As soon as He can

We find solid ground

No matter who’s around

God supplies every need
