I say a daily prayer

Thanking God for being there

I embark on a journey

Meant for me only

I learn valuable lessons

That turn into heartfelt confessions

Naysayers I ignore

Cause I’m filled to the core

I look around

See the joy I found

And I can see

What’s meant to be

I follow the path God set

Without an ounce of regret

It eases my fear

And I know God is sincere

I know what I can take

I see the memories I’ll make

It makes me so proud

I begin shouting out loud

Nothing could be better

I love life to the letter

I cherish my days

In all my ways

And I feel love

As sent by heaven above
