Wait on God. Don’t rush Him, trust Him. He’s working everything out for your good and His glory.

I went for a walk one day

A bright light led the way

I didn’t know what I’d find

I had a lot on my mind

A lot of things appeared

Some of them I feared

I didn’t know about purpose

Rising to the surface

I was very confused

Thought I was being used

It was hard to hide

All the tears I cried

I kept going for sure

I finally found something pure

It amazed me

I could see what’s meant to be

I stumbled here and there

But finally learned someone was there

It took a long time

To reach my prime

At its very core

My journey taught me more

I didn’t know what to do

But I made it through

I learned to sit still

Accept God’s will

It felt good

I thought it would

And I settled on solid ground

In the lost and found

Having a talk with God

Giving Him a wink and nod

Seeing what He can do

And all He brought you through

Getting through each day

In a very special way

Embracing a journey

Meant for you only

Sharing His love

Just like heaven above

Finally breaking free

Seeing what’s meant to be

Feeling His tender touch

Knowing it means so much

Going to a place

Filled with mercy and grace
