God fills every day

In His own special way

He stands on principles

As he performs small miracles

He gives me strength

Whenever we talk at length

He fills my soul

He makes me whole

He’s part of every journey

Meant for me only

I ignore my naysayers

As I say my prayers

God makes me see

What’s truly meant to be

He is the light

I follow day and night

He gives me peace

I’ll never release

I look at heaven above

And I give Him love

With all my heart and soul

When I wake

He knows how much I can take

He keeps me strong

Whether I’m right or wrong

He removes fear and doubt

As He works things out

I cherish every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

God is the power

I feel hour after hour

Whenever I fall

He answers my call

I always rejoice

When I hear His voice

His powerful word

Is the best I’ve heard

He’s a sight to behold

He’s a story untold

And as I look at heaven above

I give Him love
