We go through every day

Trying to live the right way

We stumble here and there

But we know God is there

Naysayers doubt us

Trust in God is a must

We work through our fear

Our faith doesn’t disappear

We take one step at a time

While still in our prime

God holds us close

Cause we matter most

Every day is a lesson

That will become a confession

We look for something true

God always carries us through

So it’s no surprise

When we rise

We feel very insecure

Yet we feel so sure

We know where to go

Life helps us grow

We wait for a plan

God will reveal when He can

Our journey is set in stone

God won’t leave us alone

We make every moment last

As we learn from our past

We sit perfectly still

As we accept God’s will

It doesn’t take long

To see where we belong

We learn to rejoice

When we hear God’s voice

Prayer is the guide

That stays by our side

We get filled to the core

God offers us more

We cherish blessings granted

We water the seeds we planted

So it’s no surprise
