I go through every day

Cherishing God’s way

I search high and low

For things I used to know

Despite my pain

Real strength I gain

I listen to God’s word

It’s the best I’ve heard

My naysayers I ignore

Cause God fills me to the core

It isn’t hard to see

My journey is meant to be

Faith is what I crave

As well as the love God gave

I learn to live

I learn to give

I learn to love

Just like heaven above

I see what’s real

And what’s too difficult to conceal

I fall and rise again

Yet I learn how to win

I reach my peak

Whenever I hear God speak

I search for peace of mind

Which is difficult to find

Before resting in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

I go through the fire

To obtain what I desire

A silent prayer

Shows me God is there

When I feel insecure

I find something pure

I see something set in stone

God won’t leave me alone

Life becomes whole

As I find something to fill my soul
