God sees what we go through

He knows what to do

We pray every day

As we see God’s way

We see what’s real

Too difficult to conceal

We follow the light

We see day and night

We struggle with fear

Until we see God standing near

We search for something pure

What will make us feel secure

Before God plants the seed

To a blessing indeed

And we turn and smile

For just a little while

Then lift one voice

And begin to rejoice

We go through every journey

Meant for us only

We see our purpose

Lying at the surface

We let go of doubt

As God works things out

We continue forging ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We learn to love

As we look at heaven above

We get filled to the core

Before God offers us more

We gain strength

As we talk at length

We fall and rise again

God teaches us to win

We start a new chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

We begin to see

What’s truly meant to be
