Moment to moment

We do a love dance

Whenever we get a chance

We cherish every day

In our own special way

We count our blessings

Without a lot of stressing

Many lessons we learn

Our stripes we earn

We sit perfectly still

As we accept God’s will

God stays with us

Certainly, in Him we trust

We hear a word

That’s the best we’ve heard

We face every storm

We break every norm

Moment to moment

We gain strength

As we talk with God at length

We hold each other close

Cause our bond matters most

Our souls are set free

We see what’s meant to be

We learn to let go

Of what we used to know

We find a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We feel God’s affection

As well as protection

We see the plan

God reveals as only He can

We take one step at a time

While still in our prime

We whisper a prayer

Cause we know God is there

We share our dreams

Until we burst at the seams

Nothing means more

God fills us to the core

We don’t pretend

We embrace our journey until the end
