Learning to smile

Even laugh a little while

Facing our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Seeing what’s set in stone

Knowing God won’t leave us alone

Carrying faith with us

Cause in God we trust

Seeing what God can do

How He carried us through

Resting in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Giving as good as we get

With very little regret

Feeling the touch

That means so much

Filling the soul

With what makes it whole

Never pretending

Cause God’s love is never ending
