Something meant to be

A place for all to see

A place filled with love and peace

One simply can’t release

A place filled with direction

As well as protection

A place where we can dream

Strange though it may seem

A place that gives us strength

As we talk at length

A place that fills the soul

With what makes it whole

A place that leaves a smile

For just a little while

And a place where we get a chance

To do a victory dance

A place paved with gold

A beautiful sight to behold

A place that’s pure

It makes us feel safe and secure

A place that removes fear

It shows God is always near

A place sitting on solid ground

It will turn a life around

A place where we reach our peak

Whenever we hear God speak

A place where we let go

Of what we used to know

A place where we stand

As we hold God’s hand

A place where love never ends

No one pretends

We can learn to live

We can learn to give
