God sets the path

Without unleashing His wrath

Filled with mercy and grace

It gives us strength

As we talk with God at length

It shows us who we are

As we reach for a star

And it turns us around

Then puts us on solid ground

The path sets things in stone

It never leaves us alone

It’s very real

It knows what to reveal

It’s part of a plan

God reveals when He can

It shows our purpose

Rising to the surface

It holds us close

Cause we matter most

It fills us to the core

Before God offers more

It sets us free

It shows what’s meant to be

It offers something pure

It keeps us safe and secure

It shows what’s rare

It shows God is there

It removes all doubt

As God works things out

It helps us grow

As we share what we know

We follow the path
