My heart opens wide

I swallow my pride

My voice I raise

Faith makes me dance

Whenever I get a chance

God fills my soul

With what makes me whole

A wide smile appears

As faith removes my fears

God walks with me

He shows what’s meant to be

Faith plants seeds

That lead to good deeds

And I share lessons I’ve learned

And the stripes I’ve earned

A new chapter begins

Faith always wins

I see what’s in stone

I realize I’m not alone

I share the love

Sent from heaven above

I look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Knowing there’s nothing to fear

I listen to His word

I count my blessings

Without a lot of stressing
