There is a thing called love

Which we find in heaven above

When we talk with God at length

In heaven we find a guide

Our pride we cannot have

On the ground below

We find what we already know

In a safe space

We learn how to run our race

We find our purpose

Lying at the surface

We learn to live

We see where blessings are granted

Seeds are planted

We learn to stand

As God holds our hand

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour

God reveals what’s in stone

He never leaves us alone

We hear His encouraging word

It’s the best we’ve heard

Every step we take

Is a memory we’ll make

We feel God’s affection

As well as protection

We face our naysayers

As we say our prayers

While holding what we treasure

Beyond all measure

Faith fills us to the core

Before God offers us more

It’s abundantly clear

We have nothing to fear

Cause we always start

With places in the heart
