As private thoughts appear

We hold our faith near

God comes before us

In Him we trust

We reflect on our days

God’s loving ways

We feel a renewed strength

As we talk at length

We count blessings galore

Before God offers us more

We hear His word

It’s the best we’ve heard

We see the right path

Without facing God’s wrath

We hear His voice in the wind

From beginning to end

We say a silent prayer

Thanking God for being there

Then faith fills the soul

With what makes it whole

Sitting in silence

Private thoughts occupy a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We think of the new journey

Meant for us only

The things we crave

All the love God gave

Our new victory dance

Our second chance

The God given purpose

That rose to the surface

The memories we’ll make

With every step we take

How we sit still

While accepting God’s will

The way we stand

As we hold God’s hand

The power from within

Ways we’ll always win
