We rise at the break of dawn

Then stretch and yawn

We whisper a prayer

Thanking God for being there

He prepares another journey

Meant for us only

We learn as we go

We share what we know

God gives us strength

As we talk at length

We stay on the right path

Without unleashing God’s wrath

We see a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Every step we take

Is a memory we’ll make

And life gets better

As we embrace it to the letter

Knowing prayer makes us whole

God guides our every move

We have nothing to prove

We listen to His word

We feel His tender touch

The touch means so much

It removes every fear

Rise to the surface

Then begin to rejoice

God shows our heart

We see where to start

He offers something pure
