God is good.

It shows what God can do

As it carries us through

It helps us reach our peak

Whenever we hear God speak

It helps us see what we’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

It can put us at ease

It shows us who to please

He holds us close

Cause we matter most

He reveals our purpose

As it rises to the surface

We see what He can do

As He carries us through

We get stronger

As our days get longer

We open our eyes

To a wonderful surprise

We feel God’s affection

We have His protection

And life gets better

As we embrace it to the letter
