I watch men come and go

I listen to them share what they know

They have wisdom to spare

They say and do what they dare

They run their race

In about every place

They poke out their chest

As they prepare for their test

They reach their peak

As they listen to God speak

They fall and rise again

Cause faith helps them win

They face every day

They accept God’s way

They move without fear

Cause God almighty is near

They hold faith close

Cause faith matters most

And they count every blessing

Without stressing

I watch men come and go

I see the treasure they hold

I hear the stories being told

They go through the fire

To obtain what they desire

They stay strong

Whether they’re right or wrong

God offers them affection

As well as protection

They learn to stand

As they hold His hand

They follow His light

Both day and night

They embrace their journey

It’s meant for them only

They always smile

Even laugh a little while

And every day I live

I see how much they give
