Resting in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Seeing what’s by design

Of what we used to know

Finding peace of mind

Which is hard to find

Feeling God’s affection

As well as protection

Faith removing every cloud

As we stand tall and proud

Finally following God

With a wink and nod

Seeing what God can do

How He brought us through

Staying on course

Without an ounce of remorse

Seeing who we are

As we reach for a star

Letting go of fear

Cause almighty God is near

Doing our victory dance

Due to our second chance

Ignoring our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Seeing the guiding light

That shines day and night

Staying very strong

Whether we’re right or wrong

Refusing to pretend

Cause our blessings never end
