I’m planted firmly in place

As I cherish a beautiful space

Faith taught me what I know

It goes wherever I go

Prayer is the key

To what’s meant to be

My naysayers I ignore

Cause I’m filled to the core

God’s encouraging word

Is all I’ve heard

It provides a path

Without unleashing God’s wrath

I see what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave me alone

He is the light

I follow day and night

I see my purpose

Lying at the surface

Faith makes me stronger

As my days get longer

I count every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

God reveals what’s by design

I know everything’s fine

I feel the love

Coming from heaven above

I know what God can do

I’ve changed my view

I travel far

Without receiving a scar

God holds me close

Cause I matter most

I’ve learned to stand

By taking His hand

Now I have a treasure

I cherish beyond measure

Faith fills my days

In a lot of ways

I have something pure

I feel safe and secure

I feel a peace

My heart won’t release

God turned me around

Then put me on solid ground
