As we walk through the open door

We find love and so much more

A God who fills the day

In a very loving way

With arms around us

In Him we trust

We see our purpose

Lying at the surface

We see the dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We find the courage to move

Cause we have nothing to prove

We hear a word for the soul

Something to make it whole

We gain a new found strength

After talking with God at length

We find perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

And life gets better

When we embrace it to the letter

All while knowing

There’s nothing to fear

Cause God almighty is near

We find a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We see faith is the key

To what’s meant to be

We learn every step we take

Is a memory we’ll make

We know what’s by design

We know everything is fine

We learn our name

We let go of shame

And continue the journey

Meant for us only

Spreading the love

Coming from heaven above

Touching a hand

Right where we stand

Feeling a kiss

Almost impossible to resist

Embracing every journey

Meant for two only

Facing every day

Knowing God will make a way

Lifting one voice

As we begin to rejoice

Resting in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Seeing something real

Knowing what our hearts can’t conceal

Holding each other close

Cause our bond matters most

Counting our blessings

Without a lot of stressing

Surviving every storm

Breaking every norm

Making crystal clear

We hold our faith near

Changing our point of view

Seeing how we made it through

Sharing a smile

Even laughing a little while

Giving as good as we get

With very little regret

Taking time to smell the roses

Then strike a few poses

Looking straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Staying close to God

By offering a wink and nod

Knowing what we have is rare

Seeing God standing there

Finding our purpose

Lying at the surface

Hanging on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

Feeling something pure

Cause we’re safe and secure

Refusing to pretend

Cause we’ll love until the end

God’s greatest work comes during the most impossible time.

Love who you are but embrace who you have the potential to become.

God has His hands on you.

No one can take what God has for you.

Miracles appear every day

They demonstrate God’s loving way

Seeing another journey

Meant for the soul only

Finding perfect peace

Seeing why God won’t leave us alone

Having the strength to endure

Feeling safe and secure

Learning to smile

The memories we make

They ignore the naysayers

No telling when the journey will end

God provides the path

I never suffer His wrath

I learn as I go
