Shines day and night

It provides a path

Without unleashing God’s wrath

It’s like a prayer

It shows God is there

It reveals our purpose

Before it rises to the surface

It gives us strength

As we talk at length

It fills us to the core

Before God offers us more

It offers us a view

Of what God can do

It removes all doubt

That God will work things out

It offers us affection

As well as protection

It makes us smile

Even laugh a little while

It removes every tear

It removes every fear

It teaches us to live

How to give

How to love

Just like heaven above

The guiding light

Shows what’s real

Too difficult to conceal

What we’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

It shows God’s encouraging word

One we’ve always heard

It soothes every soul

It makes life whole

It teaches us to sit still

As we accept God’s will

It offers a space

To run our race

It keeps us on track

It gives us what we lack

It plants seeds

To blessings indeed
