Starting the next chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

A new day has arrived

I see how I’ve thrived

God led the way

To a much brighter day

My purpose is clear

I have nothing to fear

This new journey is real

Too difficult to conceal

I can finally stand

As I hold God’s hand

I learned from the past

I made every moment last

God’s word left no doubt

That things would work out

I’ve changed my view

I see what God can do

I see new lessons

I’ll turn into confessions

My soul runs free

I know it’s meant to be

I’ve learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

I’m now in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

God’s encouraging word

Is the best I’ve heard

This moment is by design

Everything is fine

Faith removed every cloud

That makes me proud

I’m filled to the core

God will give me more

I have a renewed strength

After talking with Him at length

I know my name

I’ve let go of the shame

Life has gotten better

Cause I embrace it to the letter

So, I’ll start another chapter
