Yesterday we had the talk

During a very brisk walk

We shared all the dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We focused on the love

Coming from heaven above

We spoke about the space

Filled with mercy and grace

We talked about God’s word

The only one we’ve heard

We discussed the purpose

We saw rising to the surface

The God given journey

Meant for us only

All the blessings granted

The seeds we’ve planted

What we know God can do

How we changed our view

When we removed our doubt

How God worked things out

And all the days

Filled with God’s loving ways

Yesterday we had the talk

As we continued our walk

We spoke our name

As we let go of our shame

We looked straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We discussed what’s real

What our hearts reveal

All the power from within

How faith helps us win

The way we stand

As we hold God’s hand

How we go through the fire

To obtain what we desire

How we reach our peak

Whenever we hear God speak

The way we live

The way we give
