Shines day and night

It provides direction

As well as protection

It keeps us strong

It reveals right and wrong

It reveals God’s love

As we look at heaven above

It reveals what’s in stone

It never leaves us alone

It accompanies every journey

Meant for us only

It reveals the place

Filled with God’s grace

Our God given purpose

Lying at the surface

It shows what God can do

How God carries us through

The solid ground

We’re glad we found

And the answered prayer

Showing God is there

Our guiding light reveals the word

We’ve always heard

It holds us close

Cause we matter most

It teaches lessons

That later become confessions

It helps us grow

As we share what we know
