We’re getting back to life

Faith removed the strife

God led the way

To this glorious day

We’ve gained a renewed strength

After talking with God at length

We feel the love

Coming from heaven above

We’ve found peace

Our hearts won’t release

God heard every prayer

We thank Him for being there

We hold each other close

Cause bonding matters most

We see faith is the key

To what’s meant to be

We’ve learned to stand

After holding God’s hand

We count blessings galore

Cause we’ve filled to the core

And we’ve learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

We’re getting back to life

Oh, what a thrill

We accept God’s will

We’ve found solid ground

We share the joy we found

Filled with mercy and grace

We’ve found a treasure

Beyond all measure

God is part of every journey

Meant for us only

We do a victory dance

Cause we have a second chance

We have God’s affection

As well as His protection

God taught us to live
